Mary Farrell has been creating handmade jewellery for over 28 years, exhibiting her work in galleries and outlets throughout the UK, Europe and Japan.
Her designs often involve the use of new, sometimes alternative materials. Previous collections have employed ceramic, paper, acrylic, resin, textiles, non-precious wires & metals, and sterling silver.
Inspiration for current collections is drawn from examination of abstract organic forms such as seed heads, pollen structures and microbiology.
Her work has been purchased by the National Galleries of Scotland for their permanent collection of Contemporary Jewellery.
