Mary has been creating hand-made jewellery for over 27 years, exhibiting her work in galleries and outlets throughout the UK, Europe and Japan.
Her designs often involve the use of new, sometimes alternative materials. Previous collections have employed ceramic, paper, acrylic, resin, textiles, non-precious wires & metals, and sterling silver.
Her work has been purchased by the National Galleries of Scotland for their permanent collection of contemporary jewellery.
Current collections combine polished and oxidized precious metal clay and sterling silver with semi-precious stones and rubber. Inspiration is drawn from examination of abstract organic forms such as seed heads and pollen structures.
