Marysia's practice is informed by memory and shared social histories. She is currently working on two projects that involve abandoned public sites and buildings.
She is inspired by her environment and the everyday, the mundane or inconsequential, all the little things that make up our world.
Marysia works mainly with a digital camera but still loves the smell of a darkroom and has never lost her interest in 19th century photographic techniques and liquid emulsions.
Recently Marysia has been experimenting with combining her photography with film, printmaking techniques and laser cutting to produce multimedia artworks or textiles.
Marysia is open to collaborations with other artists that extend her practice.
