Artist Statement:

​Lindsay is inspired by history and culture from around Scotland especially east coast fishing villages. Historically, people from these villages believed in superstition. They told stories about witches, fairies and also, their livelihood from fishing, These stories have inspired Lindsay's collections giving her work a narrative quality and a distinctive charm.
