Mary Farrell is a jeweller and printmaker based in Inverkeithing.
Her work is inspired by both natural and industrial forms, marrying the linear and abstract with subtle pattern and texture. Pieces are sterling silver, sometimes combined with fine silver and non-precious materials.
She is a member of Dunfermline Print Workshop, working with both Intaglio and Relief techniques.
‘I find lots of crossover between making my jewellery and printmaking, exploring the intersection between two and three dimensional, and finding different ways to express line and movement. Both disciplines involve ‘construction’ and experimentation, play and discovery, and keep me learning and making new work.’
