Artist Statement:
SK Furniture was started in 2016 after Kirsty MacDonald finished college. She mainly uses Scottish woods bought locally and her love of wood shines through. The flaws are kept and used to enhance each piece. Kirsty designs and manufactures all here pieces in her workshop and has recently joined the Scottish furniture makers association. Commission work is the main part of the business but there are always wood inspired pieces available and always inspiring wood available at the workshop. |
